DJ BOOMAN is a Baltimore native who has been rocking parties, clubs, and mix tapes since the late 80’s. The self-proclaimed “OG TRIPLE OG” of Baltimore DJ’s has been on the turntables since the young age of 11 years old. Booman started out rocking house parties and high school jams in the early 90’s and after high school went on to become one of the Mid-Atlantic’s premier college tour dj’s. Booman was a regular at Morgan state, Coppin State, Towson University, University of Maryland, Lincoln University, and he rocked a sold out show for the Def Comedy Jam Tour at Frostburg State University. The college events built a fan base that parlayed into mix tapes, 4 years mixshow DJ on Werq 92Q Baltimore and Wxyv V103 respectively and clubs all over the Mid Atlantic (Paradox, Hip Hop CafĂ©, Redwood Trust, Bar Nun DC). While mastering his DJ skills Booman also got into the production arena where he was one of the key producers for Unruly Records/Direct Drive Record Pool and first engineer for Unruly Studios where he created Baltimore Club Music classics like “pick em up”, “watch out for the big girl”, and “shout” with his partners in crime KW GRIFF and JIMMY JONES. Booman also produced and co-produced many hot hip-hop and rnb acts, most notably a remix for the King Of Pop Michael Jackson’s single “strangers in Moscow”. Fast-forward to 2005 Booman is still deep rooted in the music industry. He is a member of the world famous Bumsquad Dj’s and his Bosstalk Mixtape is igniting the streets worldwide. Booman and Crooked Streetz are set to release the Bosstalk DVD video magazine, and he is co-ceo of Promobile Marketing Group, who in 04 handled promotions, marketing and consulting for Sony, Universal, Lays, Nike and Ebay to name a few. With marketing, production, and Djing in his arsenal 2007 will prove to be another breakout year for DJ BOOMAN and his O.S.E.S Industries Company. O.S.E.S your One Stop Entertainment Source best describes the man and his vision of a full service entertainment mecca for the MidAtlantic and the world abroad. Booman’s motto is simple “Make a living doing what I love and what I love is music and entertainment” You can catch Booman mixing live on Weaa 88.9 strictly hip hop on Fridays, on Tour with Invisible Set recording Artist D.O.G, or Djing at venues all around the city…… Cameos, 13th Floor, Goodlove Bar, 5 seasons, Loft, Club mate just to name a few! Check out Booman’s remixes for Diddy, Jim Jones, Taxi Doll and future projects with his Crooked Streetz family, David Banner, 410 Pharoahs, Kenny Dope , Raheem Devaugn and many more!!!!
